PROLOGUE – LEG 1: Warm-up Stage Before the Real Challenge Begins
The 2025 IRRA Rally Raid officially opened today with the Prologue stage, a short but highly technical warm-up section designed to determine the starting order for Leg 1. Although brief in distance, the Prologue provides competitors with an early taste of the terrain, navigation style, and rhythm that will define the challenges ahead.
The route features a mix of gravel, narrow winding tracks, uneven surfaces, and elevation changes—requiring full focus from both Auto and Moto competitors. While not a timed special stage, the Prologue plays an important strategic role: a clean and disciplined run can secure a better starting position for the next leg, and mistakes here may lead to a disadvantage even before the race officially begins.
